Welcome to Building Lifetime Wealth, your home for learning to build wealth over the course of your entire lifetime.  But what exactly does this mean?  And how is this site different from all of the other personal finance websites out there?  Read on!

WHAT IS 'BUILDING LIFETIME WEALTH'?

​

"Building Lifetime Wealth" is a process, aimed at improving your financial life now and throughout the rest of your life.  It's not a "get rich quick" scheme, and it's not just about saving for retirement.  In fact, we use the word "retirement" as little as possible on this site, and you'll see why as you learn more about the process.

​

Why not talk so much about "retirement"?  Just like physical health, we'd prefer you look at financial health as something you need to maintain throughout your entire life, not just one part of it.  And "saving for retirement" sounds like a chore!  We want you to look at building wealth as something enjoyable, maybe even fun, not something about as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist (sorry dentists, we need you in our lives, but you're not exactly fun to visit)!

Based on our experience, too many people are doing one of two things:

​

  • Doing nothing to build wealth, improve their finances, or save money for later use.

  • Sacrificing too much of the present for an uncertain future.

​

The true path to financial well-being lies in between these two extremes, but far too few people seem to be able to find the middle ground.  This is one of the main reasons we started this website.
